Roof & Solar Inspections
Access difficult areas safely and gain a clear visual record of roof and solar conditions without unnecessary physical access.
Our drone inspection services provide detailed imagery of roofing, guttering, flashing, solar panels and surrounding structures, helping homeowners, insurers, builders, strata managers and trades assess visible issues and document site conditions efficiently.
MountainScape Creative can provide high-resolution photo and video capture for routine checks, storm damage, maintenance planning, insurance assessments and pre-work inspections, with optional reporting available where required.

DJI Air 2S
The DJI Air 2S is ideal for detailed roof and solar inspections, delivering UHD imagery with excellent low-light performance. Its smaller airframe also produces considerably less downwash than larger drones, making it well suited to closer inspection work around roofs and structures.

DJI Mini 2 (Modified)
The DJI Mini 2 is our compact inspection platform for roofs, confined areas and sites requiring minimal downwash. Its sub-250g weight makes it highly versatile for detailed roof and solar inspections, including operations near controlled airspace where permitted.
Compliance and Inspection Scope
MountainScape Creative holds a Civil Aviation Safety Authority Remote Operator’s Certificate (CASA.ReOC.9272) and operates in accordance with Part 101 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR). All remotely piloted aircraft are CASA-registered and operated by qualified Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) holders under approved safety, risk-management and maintenance procedures.
Our roof and solar inspections are visual and observational only. We capture aerial imagery and report on visible conditions observed at the time of inspection. We do not provide structural, engineering, electrical, roofing or building advice, nor are we licensed to prescribe repairs or remediation work.
Any identified or suspected defects should be assessed by an appropriately licensed roofer, electrician, solar technician, builder, engineer or other qualified professional before repairs or further action are undertaken.
